New Jersey will offer 770 free World Cup tickets for games at MetLife Stadium through donations and host committee allocations. The tickets will cover seven matches at the venue, excluding the final.
Youth soccer clubs, National Guard families, hospital patients, nurses, first responders and local community supporters will be eligible. The tickets will be non-transferable to stop resale, following criticism over affordability and New Jersey’s tournament costs.
