Neymar will undergo an MRI scan on Monday as Brazil assess whether he can recover from a right calf injury in time for the World Cup. The Santos forward has not trained with the squad and missed the Egypt friendly.
Brazil’s medical staff found a grade two muscle problem after Santos had initially diagnosed swelling in his calf. Carlo Ancelotti said Neymar has been working alone and could rejoin group training next week if the scan is positive.
