Atletico Madrid have made Cristian Romero their top defensive target ahead of the Club World Cup, with the Tottenham centre-back reportedly interested in joining his Argentine compatriots in Spain.
Negotiations are expected to be difficult, as Spurs reportedly value Romero at £60 million and he remains under contract until 2027. Real Madrid also remain interested in the defender.
