Victor Wembanyama says he’s moved past the blood clot issue in his right shoulder that ended his season early, and while not yet cleared for contact, he has resumed training and vows to be ready for next year’s camp.
Wembanyama avoided specifics but credited the Spurs’ medical staff for elite care. Despite missing 36 games, he led the NBA in blocks (176) and voiced excitement for a new Big Three with De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle.

Mamukelashvili erupted for a career-high 34 points in just 19 minutes, making NBA history for the most points scored in a game with under 20 minutes played since 1951-52.
Coming off the bench, he shot an incredible 13-of-14 from the field, including a perfect 7-for-7 from three-point range. The Spurs defeated the Knicks 120-105, and Mamukelashvili’s performance was hyped by friend and rapper Flavor Flav, who celebrated his birthday courtside.
