Atlético Madrid are keen to sign Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández, and several Argentina teammates attempted to lure him during the recent international break.
Despite strong pressure from Atlético stars Rodrigo De Paul, Nahuel Molina, Ángel Correa, and Giuliano Simeone while with Argentina, Fernández has reportedly turned down a move to Diego Simeone’s side — for now. He enjoys life in London and is under contract at Chelsea until 2032, but sources say he’s “keeping his options open.” Real Madrid are also monitoring the situation.

Arsenal have joined Liverpool in the race for 19-year-old Ajax defender Jorrel Hato.
The Netherlands international, who plays as both a left-back and center-back, has impressed major clubs with 61 Eredivisie starts since debuting in February 2023. Real Madrid, Chelsea, and AC Milan are also monitoring him.

Top clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid are expected to earn more based on global appeal and success. FIFA said no funds will be retained, and none will come from their reserves. Despite concerns raised by players like England captain Harry Kane over condensed schedules, the tournament promises a lucrative payday and global spotlight.

Arsenal are the latest club to join the chase for Ajax’s 19-year-old defensive prodigy Jorrel Hato.
The versatile Dutch international—who can play at both left-back and center-back—is also being scouted by Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and AC Milan. Arsenal view him as a key long-term defensive asset.
