Reading owner Dai Yongge has been given until May 5 to complete the club’s sale after being disqualified under the EFL’s owners’ and directors’ test.
The EFL extended the deadline due to progress in talks with a buyer, reportedly ex-Wycombe owner Rob Couhig. The unnamed buyer will cover club finances during the transition.
