Darko Rajakovic Named Head Coach of Team World for 2026 All-Star

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver named Rajakovic as Team World head coach for the 2026 All-Star Game. Bickerstaff and Johnson will coach the two U.S. player teams in the three-team format. Rajakovic earned the nod while guiding Toronto to a strong record (30-21 cited). The event will be held at Intuit Dome in Inglewood and aired on NBC and Peacock.

NBC’s NBA return posts 15-year Opening Night high

NBC/Peacock averaged 5.61m viewers (+87% YoY) for Opening Night. Thunder–Rockets peaked at 7.1m in double OT, most-watched early window since 2010, while Warriors–Lakers drew 5.11m as NBC won primetime 18–49. Tuesday night NBA is back weekly, with Sunday nights joining in February under the new 11-year rights pact, boosting reach and cross-platform promotion.
