Barcelona Win Appeal to Keep Olmo & Víctor Eligible

Barcelona can retain Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in their squad after winning their appeal against LaLiga and the RFEF’s decision to revoke the players’ registrations.
Spain’s Sports Ministry (CSD) ruled that LaLiga and the Spanish FA lacked jurisdiction to revoke the temporary registrations granted in January. This means both players can feature for the remainder of the season.

LaLiga claims Barcelona never had sufficient salary space to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, challenging a €100m VIP seat deal used to justify temporary January registrations.
LaLiga says Barça missed a Dec. 31 deadline to comply with financial rules, and the €100m sale wasn’t recorded in submitted financials. The league has lowered Barça’s spending cap and reported the auditor involved. The CSD temporarily allowed registrations, but may now revoke them following league pressure and internal reviews.
