Williamson has been ruled out of Friday’s rematch against the Timberwolves due to a low back contusion.
He suffered the injury after scoring 29 points on 12-of-16 shooting in Wednesday’s win over Minnesota. The All-Star has played only 30 games this season amid ongoing injury concerns.

Capela is expected to miss the rest of the regular season due to a ligament injury in his left hand.
MRI revealed damage in the fourth metacarpal. He’ll be reevaluated in 3–4 weeks, with the Hawks’ final regular-season game on April 13.

Williams underwent arthroscopic surgery to treat inflammation in his left knee and will be sidelined for 4–6 weeks.
Injuries have limited him to 26 games since being traded from Boston in October 2023. He averaged 5.8 PPG, 5.9 RPG, and 1.7 BPG in just 17.6 minutes this season. With Portland on the edge of play-in contention, his season may be over unless the team makes a late postseason push.

Bronny James scored a season-high 17 points with 5 assists in 30 minutes during the Lakers’ 118-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
With LeBron James and several Lakers out due to injuries, Bronny stepped up, going 7-of-10 from the field and holding his own in a 1-on-1 sequence with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Despite a turnover, his confidence, conditioning, and growth were praised by coach JJ Redick.
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Curry left in the third quarter of the Warriors’ 117-114 win over the Toronto Raptors due to a pelvic contusion after a hard fall.
While driving into the paint, Curry collided mid-air with two defenders and landed hard on his back. He walked off under his own power but did not return. An MRI was scheduled postgame.
Trendon Watford, Brooklyn Nets

Watford was ejected following a physical altercation with Indiana Pacers players late in regulation during a 105-99 OT loss.
After a Pacers basket, Watford shoved Andrew Nembhard, then clashed with Myles Turner. Officials issued double technicals. The Pacers rallied post-incident to seal the win.
Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks)

Draymond Green played a key role in Golden State’s 104-93 victory over Milwaukee, holding Giannis Antetokounmpo to 20 points on 5-for-16 shooting. His defensive performance, which included four blocks and two steals, bolstered his case for a second NBA Defensive Player of the Year award.
Green’s smothering defense forced Antetokounmpo into his worst shooting game in two seasons, with Giannis going 0-for-7 when directly contested by Green. The Bucks’ 93 points marked their season low. With Victor Wembanyama out for the season, Green sees an opportunity to win his second DPOY award.

Sabonis suffered a moderate right ankle sprain in Monday’s win against the Grizzlies and will be reevaluated in 10 days.
The injury occurred in the third quarter. This setback comes just after Sabonis returned from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for six games. Jonas Valančiūnas is expected to step into the starting lineup during his absence. The Kings, currently ninth in the Western Conference, have struggled without Sabonis, holding a 3-6 record in games he’s missed this season.
Sandro Mamukelashvili, San Antonio Spurs

Mamukelashvili erupted for a career-high 34 points in just 19 minutes, making NBA history for the most points scored in a game with under 20 minutes played since 1951-52.
Coming off the bench, he shot an incredible 13-of-14 from the field, including a perfect 7-for-7 from three-point range. The Spurs defeated the Knicks 120-105, and Mamukelashvili’s performance was hyped by friend and rapper Flavor Flav, who celebrated his birthday courtside.
Trey Murphy III, New Orleans Pelicans

Murphy will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn labrum and partially torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder.
How: He initially dislocated his shoulder in the first quarter of Monday’s 46-point loss to the Pistons. Further examination confirmed the severity of the injury. Murphy had been averaging a career-high 21.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while shooting 45.4% overall and 36.1% from three in 52 games.
