Warriors guard Moses Moody had surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb. The team confirmed the 22-year-old is expected to make a full recovery in time for training camp.
The procedure was performed in Los Angeles after Moody sustained the injury late in the season. He is coming off his best NBA campaign to date, averaging 9.8 points in the regular season and 7.1 in the playoffs. Moody is entering the first year of a three-year, $37.5 million extension.
