Tottenham Seal Tel Deal for £29.8m Until 2031

Tottenham have completed the permanent signing of France U21 forward Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich for £29.8 million, with the 20-year-old committing to a contract until 2031.
After a £7.3m loan in January under Postecoglou, the deal was always intended to become permanent. New manager Thomas Frank approved the move, and Bayern praised Tel’s development and attitude during his time in Germany.

Spurs Sign Tel Permanently in €40m Deal

Tottenham have secured a permanent transfer for 20-year-old France U21 forward Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich for €40 million, after a productive loan and revised negotiations.
Tel, who scored three goals in 20 appearances during his loan, becomes Thomas Frank’s first signing. He signs until June 2031 after personal terms were previously agreed. Bayern originally bought him from Rennes for €30m in 2022.

Spurs Yet to Decide on Mathys Tel Transfer

Tottenham have not finalized a decision on exercising the £45m option to sign Mathys Tel permanently from Bayern Munich. The young forward’s future remains uncertain as Spurs assess their summer transfer priorities.
While Kevin Danso’s deal was made permanent, and Timo Werner returns to RB Leipzig, Spurs have yet to activate Tel’s clause. Other outgoings include Forster, Reguilon, and Whiteman, whose contracts end in June.

Bayern May Recall Mathys Tel Early From Spurs Loan Ahead of Club World Cup

Bayern are considering recalling Mathys Tel from his Spurs loan this summer to strengthen their squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Although Tel’s loan to Spurs included a €55m buy option and runs until June 30, FIFA’s new June 1–10 transfer window gives Bayern the chance to terminate the deal early and bring him back.
