LeBron James returned from a two-week groin injury absence, scoring 17 points in 31 minutes during the Lakers’ 146-115 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
James was sidelined after a strain suffered on March 8 vs. Boston. His return comes as the Lakers’ roster nears full health, with only a few players still inactive. Rui Hachimura also made his return and is under minutes restriction.

Bronny James scored a season-high 17 points with 5 assists in 30 minutes during the Lakers’ 118-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
With LeBron James and several Lakers out due to injuries, Bronny stepped up, going 7-of-10 from the field and holding his own in a 1-on-1 sequence with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Despite a turnover, his confidence, conditioning, and growth were praised by coach JJ Redick.
Luka Doncic, Los Angeles Lakers

Doncic will sit out Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks as he continues to manage a sprained right ankle.
The Lakers have played six games in eight days, making them the only team to do so this season due to a makeup game. Doncic played through the injury on Wednesday, scoring 31 points against Denver. LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, and Austin Reaves are also out.
