Wrexham are in advanced talks to sign Ipswich forward Nathan Broadhead in a deal worth around £7.5m, which would break the club’s transfer record set just last week.
Ipswich have not yet approved the sale but Wrexham are increasingly confident of finalizing the move. Broadhead’s transfer would surpass the £3m deal for Lewis O’Brien from Nottingham Forest.

Manager Kieran McKenna played a key role in convincing Young, having worked with him during their Manchester United days. The move will be officially announced within 24 hours as Young joins Ipswich’s Championship promotion push.

Ipswich captain Sam Morsy is set to join Kuwait FC on a free transfer. The 33-year-old is flying to the Middle East after being offered life-changing terms for him and his family.
Ipswich previously agreed not to block any offers from Middle Eastern clubs. Morsy had one year left on his contract but will depart without a fee, fulfilling a gentleman’s agreement with the club.

Liam Delap has completed a £30m move to Chelsea after scoring 12 goals in 37 Premier League games for Ipswich.
The 22-year-old signed a six-year deal and thanked Ipswich fans, teammates, and staff on Instagram, saying he’ll “never forget” his time at the club.
