David Moyes praised Everton’s intensity, focus and game management after a dominant 3-0 victory over Chelsea. The result strengthened Everton’s push up the Premier League table and gave Moyes one of his most satisfying performances since returning to the club. Everton controlled the tone of the match from the opening minutes and combined sharp defending with clinical finishing through Beto and Iliman Ndiaye. Moyes also said the atmosphere at Hill Dickinson Stadium felt closer to Goodison Park than at any previous home game.
