UConn beat Duke 73-72 on a last-second three from Braylon Mullins, overturning a 19-point first-half deficit to reach the Final Four. The Huskies produced one of the tournament’s biggest comebacks and ended Duke’s season in dramatic fashion. Mullins hit a 35-footer with 0.4 seconds left after a deflected Duke pass gave UConn one final chance. Tarris Reed Jr. led the Huskies with 26 points, while Duke wasted a strong night from Cameron Boozer and suffered another crushing late tournament collapse.

UNC blow: Caleb Wilson out for season after second hand injury, surgery required

The freshman star will miss the rest of the season after breaking his right thumb in a non-contact drill, requiring surgery, after recently returning from a left-hand fracture. He was ramping up activity after the earlier injury but got hurt while dunking in practice. UNC had gone 5-1 without him and were nearing March’s key stretch, including a rematch with Duke and the ACC Tournament.
