Saudi champions Al Ittihad are prepared to pay Bruno Guimarães’ €120 million release clause to sign him from Newcastle United. Talks have already taken place with the player’s agent, Alexis Malavolta, though salary demands are expected to exceed €40–50 million annually.
Al Ittihad made Guimarães their top priority, but face competition from Al Hilal, who are also in contact with his representatives. Guimarães has five goals and nine assists this season and played a key role in Newcastle’s Carabao Cup triumph.
