Bayer Leverkusen’s management confirmed there’s a “very high probability” Florian Wirtz will stay next season, despite interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester City. He remains under contract until 2027.
Managing director Fernando Carro emphasized there’s no financial pressure to sell and hinted Wirtz could reject clubs he’s not interested in. The 21-year-old recently returned from a five-week injury layoff.
