Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Brentford captain Christian Norgaard for a total package of £15 million. He has signed a two-year deal with the option of a third.
Arsenal will pay £10m up front and £5m in add-ons. Norgaard becomes Arteta’s third summer signing, adding experience and defensive steel to the midfield alongside new recruits Zubimendi and Kepa.

Arsenal have completed the £51m signing of Spain midfielder Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, activating his release clause.
A pre-agreement was reached in March, giving Arsenal the edge over Real Madrid and Liverpool. Zubimendi impressed at Euro 2024 and joins former teammate Mikel Merino at the Emirates.

Thomas Partey will officially leave Arsenal next week after failing to reach an agreement on a contract extension. The Ghanaian midfielder is now open to moves in Europe or Saudi Arabia.
Arsenal opted not to renew the 32-year-old’s deal. Talks were held with clubs in both Saudi Arabia and Europe, with Partey now exploring free-agent opportunities after four years at the Emirates.
Cristhian Mosquera (Valencia)

Arsenal are in talks with Valencia for Cristhian Mosquera, a 20-year-old right-sided centre-back. With just one year left on his contract, Valencia are asking around £25m. Leipzig were also interested but balked at the price.
