Nineteen-year-old winger Cole Campbell has formally requested to leave Borussia Dortmund in January, telling the club he needs regular first team minutes after managing only five senior appearances, despite breaking through last season and representing the United States at under 20 level. Via his representatives, Campbell has signalled that a winter move best serves his development, with Sky Sports Deutschland reporting official talks over a transfer request. Interest has emerged from Club Brugge, Anderlecht, FC Midtjylland and 2.Bundesliga side SV Elversberg, as Dortmund weigh up whether a loan or permanent sale is the best solution.

Bayern and Dortmund escalate battle for Anderlecht prodigy Nathan De Cat

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have intensified their pursuit of 17-year-old midfielder Nathan De Cat (Anderlecht), who has risen from academy prospect to first-team regular and is now viewed as one of Europe’s most exciting young midfield talents under long-term contract.
Bayern chiefs Max Eberl (Bayern Munich) and Christoph Freund (Bayern Munich) see him as a future tempo-setting pillar, possibly succeeding Leon Goretzka (Bayern Munich), while Dortmund’s scouts, tracking him since his Europa League debut, regard him as an ideal fit for their high-tempo development model. No formal bids have arrived, but both clubs have moved into serious evaluation.
