NBA informed teams that the salary cap is projected to rise by 10% for the 2025-26 season.

• The salary cap is projected at $154.6 million, with a luxury tax threshold at $187.9 million.
• The first apron is projected at $195.9M, and the second apron at $207.8M — a $17.8M increase from this season.
• Teams under the tax threshold are expected to receive $11.5M each from tax-paying teams.
• Despite the increase, only the Brooklyn Nets are projected to have over $50M in cap space.
• Potential free agents with player options include LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.
