Draymond Green nearly joined Memphis in 2023 via sign-and-trade before a $100M Warriors deal. Memphis aimed to replace Dillon Brooks with veteran leadership and tried radical offensive reforms this season.
Green called Warriors teammates to signal his possible departure before Golden State intervened.
