Jan Paul van Hecke has completed a €60 million move from Brighton to Tottenham during the World Cup. The Netherlands defender said the fee makes him proud but will not change him as a person before facing Sweden.
Ronald Koeman allowed Van Hecke time to complete the transfer while staying with the Netherlands squad. The deal includes a future sell-on clause and gives Tottenham another major defensive addition under Roberto De Zerbi for next season.
