Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk is expected to sign a new two-year contract, following Mohamed Salah’s recent extension, ahead of the Reds’ weekend clash with Leicester City.
Salah confirmed his deal last week and hinted Van Dijk would follow. The Dutch defender, who just captained Liverpool for the 100th time, reaffirmed his love for the club and suggested an announcement is imminent.
