Santiago Muñoz (Sporting Kansas City)

Former Liga MX and Newcastle forward Santiago Muñoz has joined Sporting Kansas City on loan with a purchase option, aiming to revitalize his career after a poor season with Santos Laguna.
Muñoz made just 12 appearances in Clausura 2025 without scoring. He joins a struggling SKC side under interim coach Kerry Zavagnin, and remains eligible to represent either Mexico or the USMNT internationally.
