Marcus Rashford’s long-term future is back in doubt after Cadena SER reported that Barcelona allowed the March window to expire on the €30 million purchase option in his loan deal. That means the club no longer holds the original fixed-price route and any permanent move would now need fresh negotiations. The loan was announced in July 2025 that Barcelona had an option to buy Rashford for around €30 million. Cadena SER now says that option expired in March, opening a new scenario in which Barcelona may try to renegotiate or seek another loan, while Manchester United prefer a permanent sale.
