Joao Palhinha (Bayern Munich > Tottenham)

Tottenham have signed Joao Palhinha on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich, paying a £4.4m fee and covering his £8.7m salary. The deal includes a £27m option to buy.
Palhinha returns to the Premier League a year after leaving Fulham. He cited manager Thomas Frank’s influence as key to the move and hopes to debut against Bayern in Spurs’ pre-season match at the Allianz Arena.
