Luka Modric has verbally agreed to join AC Milan as a free agent following the end of his long stint at Real Madrid. The formal signing is expected to be completed within the next 48 hours.
Modric became a free agent after his Madrid contract expired. Milan moved quickly to offer terms and are confident of securing the veteran midfielder, who still wants to play top-tier European football despite turning 39 soon.
