LA Galaxy, San Diego FC and Hirving Lozano

LA Galaxy have completed the loan signing of Hirving Lozano from San Diego FC for the remainder of the 2026 season. The former Mexico winger becomes a Designated Player, with the deal containing an option for a permanent move.
San Diego will continue paying a substantial portion of Lozano’s salary while the Galaxy give him a route back to regular football. He had not played since November 2025 after falling outside San Diego’s plans and training away from the team.
