Kaoru Mitoma has informed Brighton of his desire to stay and sign a new deal. The Japan international is set for contract extension talks after rejecting interest from Al Nassr and Bayern.
Brighton want to reward Mitoma for his breakout season and consider him key under manager Fabian Hurzeler. Talks are planned to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2027.
