Jamie Vardy and Burnley

Burnley have signed 39-year-old striker Jamie Vardy for the remainder of the season. The former Leicester City forward arrives after playing for Cremonese last season and adds experience to a Burnley side competing in the Championship after relegation.
Vardy spent more than a decade at Leicester, winning the Premier League and FA Cup before leaving in 2025. Burnley head coach Nicky Hayen said his experience and leadership will be valuable as the club looks to improve its campaign.
