Ipswich Town insist they are “very well protected” regarding Liam Delap, despite reports Manchester City have a £40m buy-back clause for the striker.
Delap, sold to Ipswich for £20m in 2024, has scored 10 Premier League goals this season. Interest from top clubs is growing, but Ipswich maintain confidence in their contractual position as they battle relegation.
