Nottingham Forest signed James McAtee and Omari Hutchinson for a combined £67.5m, with both players penning five-year deals. The duo bolsters Forest’s squad ahead of their Europa League campaign, finally fulfilling manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s demands for summer reinforcements. Hutchinson joined for £37.5m after Forest beat Brentford’s interest, while McAtee cost £30m in the final year of his City contract. Both impressed for England U21s this summer, combining for the winning goal in the European Championship final versus Germany.
