Celtic are in advanced talks to sign 23-year-old centre-back Hayato Inamura from Albirex Niigata, with the player eager to join the Scottish champions.
Discussions progressed well on Monday. Inamura, a versatile left-footed defender who can also play left-back, has made 13 J League appearances this season and scored once.
