Arsenal are still keen on Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera, who has just one year left on his contract. Valencia want €25m, but Arsenal’s initial €15m bid was rejected.
Mosquera has not signed a contract extension and reportedly prefers a move to Arsenal. The Gunners are expected to return with an improved offer as they look to reinforce their backline.
