Benjamin Sesko’s £74m move from RB Leipzig to Manchester United nearly collapsed, but his agent Elvis Basanovic waived part of his commission to complete the deal. Newcastle were also interested as Liverpool tracked Alexander Isak, but Sesko chose Old Trafford. Sesko signed a five-year contract after United struggled to match Leipzig’s valuation. His agent stepped in to push the transfer through, claiming decisive intervention was needed. Sesko’s arrival strengthens United’s attack while rival clubs rued missing out.
