The NWSL announced that the 2026 Championship will be played at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. The venue will host the league’s title match for the second time after also staging the 2022 final between Portland Thorns and Kansas City Current.
Commissioner Jessica Berman praised Washington’s strong women’s soccer market and engaged fan base. The decision places the final at the home of Washington Spirit, where Trinity Rodman has helped lift the club’s profile and the venue’s matchday pull.
