Morocco have temporarily climbed to fifth in the FIFA men’s world ranking after Brazil’s 1-1 friendly draw with Australia reduced the Seleção’s points total. Fifth represents Morocco’s highest position and matches Africa’s historic ranking record.
Morocco moved to 1803.99 points while Brazil slipped to 1802.90, leaving only Spain, Argentina, France and England above the Atlas Lions. The ranking remains provisional, with FIFA’s final official standings due after the international break ends on 7 October.
