Morocco, Gabon and Abdellah Ouazane

Morocco opened 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with a 2-0 victory over Gabon in Rabat. Noussair Mazraoui scored from distance before Soufiane Rahimi added the late second, while 17-year-old Abdellah Ouazane made his senior international debut.
Ouazane entered in the 76th minute with Morocco leading 1-0 and helped create the second goal by releasing Bilal El Khannouss, whose first-time pullback found Rahimi. The result gave Morocco all three points from their opening qualifier.
