OL Lyonnes began their Women’s Champions League campaign with an 8-0 rout of Servette, with Marie-Antoinette Katoto completing a hat-trick shortly after half-time. The eight-time European champions controlled the match from an early own goal onward.
Katoto scored twice before the break and completed her treble in the 47th minute after a back-heeled assist from Lily Yohannes. Melchie Dumornay also scored with a chipped finish as Lyonnes opened the league phase with one of the round’s biggest wins.
