Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has received his first senior France call-up after Ibrahima Konaté withdrew from Zinedine Zidane’s Nations League squad with a knee injury. Konaté has returned to Real Madrid following confirmation of the problem.
Zidane added the 20-year-old Yoro to a squad already containing several new faces as he begins his first international campaign in charge. France open against Türkiye before further Nations League matches with Belgium and Italy during the extended window.
