Morocco named their squad for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Gabon and Lesotho, with five players receiving first senior call-ups. Racing Santander forward Yasser Zabiri leads the newcomers alongside Abdellah Ouazane, Alaa Belaaroussi, Soufiane El Fouzi and Taoufik Bentayeb.
Morocco open at home to Gabon on September 25 before travelling to face Lesotho four days later in Bloemfontein. A friendly against Ghana follows on October 4, while established names including Achraf Hakimi, Brahim Diaz and Yassine Bounou remain selected.
