Philadelphia Union winger Cavan Sullivan has been called into the United States squad for four upcoming friendlies, according to multiple sources. The 16-year-old becomes the youngest USMNT call-up since Freddy Adu and could become the country’s second-youngest senior debutant.

Sullivan has six goals and five primary assists this MLS season and is due to join Manchester City when he turns 18. Mauricio Pochettino’s squad will face Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada across the late-September and early-October international window.
