Manchester United are investigating after viral footage showed fan Frank Ilett, known as “The United Strand,” being attacked in the concourse during the 2-1 win over Chelsea. Ilett has gone viral for refusing to cut his hair until United win five consecutive games. Ilett was verbally abused and grabbed by another supporter, sparking outrage online. United vowed strong sanctions if the culprit is identified. Ironically, the last time United won five in a row was under Erik ten Hag in February 2024.
