Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed a previously unknown factor behind Jadon Sancho (Manchester United) and his troubled start, explaining that an ear infection and hospital stay after his move from Borussia Dortmund badly disrupted his first weeks and stalled the winger’s integration into the squad.
Speaking on The Overlap, Solskjaer said he never really worked with Sancho before being sacked, while the winger later endured a turbulent spell under Erik ten Hag that included time away for mental reasons and a failed attempt to rebuild confidence with individual training.
