Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham claims Marcus Rashford doesn’t deserve a move to Barcelona, calling the forward’s transfer request and attitude toward leaving Old Trafford “soul-destroying” for a club of United’s stature.
Rashford, who spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, wants out after Villa declined to activate a £40m clause. Barcelona are monitoring him, but Sheringham believes Rashford hasn’t earned such a step up.
