Sevilla have sacked manager Javier Garcia Pimienta following a fourth consecutive LaLiga defeat, this time 1–0 to Valencia. The club sits 13th in the table, just seven points above relegation.
Hired last July, Pimienta couldn’t turn around Sevilla’s inconsistent season despite prior success at Las Palmas. The club thanked him for his efforts and will face Alaves next as they try to stabilize.
