Monza prosecutors and former Italian refereeing officials

Monza prosecutors have asked for part of an investigation involving former Italian refereeing officials to be closed. The probe examined alleged sports fraud connected to so-called knocks on the VAR room in Lissone during matches played between 2024 and 2025.
Former refereeing chief Gianluca Rocchi, former VAR supervisor Andrea Gervasoni and former VAR officials Luigi Nasca and Rodolfo Di Vuolo were investigated. Prosecutors said the documents did not show fraudulent conduct or an intention to alter match results.
