Hoeness claimed Bayern consulted Guardiola before hiring Kompany, with Pep endorsing him as a “fantastic coach” and possible future City boss. Kompany responded by stressing he “has zero thoughts” about other teams and is fully consumed by delivering success for Bayern now.
