Arsenal legend Ian Wright says Harry Kane made a “massive mistake” signing a six-year deal with Spurs in 2018, a move that prevented a 2021 transfer to Manchester City. Spurs rejected City’s £100m bid, leading them to eventually sign Erling Haaland. Kane later joined Bayern and finally won a Bundesliga title, but Wright believes the striker missed earlier trophy opportunities by staying loyal to Tottenham.
