Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram has received a yellow card and a €2,000 fine for simulation, while Fiorentina executive Fabio Paratici was fined €10,000 and issued a formal warning for confronting a referee. The decisions formed part of a wider disciplinary announcement involving multiple Italian clubs.

Serie A’s sporting judge found that Thuram had pretended to be fouled inside the opposition penalty area. Paratici was punished for challenging a referee’s decision in an agitated and disrespectful manner during half-time. Como received an €8,000 fine for delaying the second half, while Napoli were fined €7,000 over smoke flares thrown by supporters. Venezia, Fiorentina, Bologna, Sassuolo, Udinese and AC Milan also received financial penalties for matchday incidents.
